These terms govern your use of moving.one (“we”, “us”) and any estimate or booking you request. By using the site or requesting a quote, you agree to these terms.
What moving.one is
moving.one is a moving-estimate platform. The estimates shown are non-binding planning ranges based on the information you provide. Your move is performed by a licensed, insured moving carrier (named at the end of these terms), and the final price is confirmed by a coordinator after reviewing your inventory and access. Nothing on the site is a guaranteed price until confirmed in writing.
Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information about your move (addresses, inventory, access, dates). Estimates and scheduling depend on this being correct; significant differences discovered on move day may change the price or timing.
Deposits, payments & cancellations
Where a deposit is offered, it is charged securely through our payment processor (Stripe) to reserve your date, and it is applied to your final balance. You may cancel or reschedule by contacting us; a deposit is refundable if you cancel at least 72 hours before the scheduled pickup window, otherwise it may be retained to cover reserved crew and truck. The balance is due as disclosed on your written estimate. Specific deposit and cancellation terms for your move are stated on the written estimate you receive and control if they differ from this summary.
No guarantee
We aim for accurate estimates and reliable service, but availability, timing, and final pricing are not guaranteed until confirmed. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site is provided “as is,” and our liability for the platform is limited to the amount you paid to us (if any) for it. Claims relating to the physical move are handled by the fulfilling carrier under its contract and applicable moving regulations.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
